Our start up story...

As I supported young learners from Year 1 to the end of primary school, I noticed that the public education system didn't always fit the needs of many of my students for a variety of reasons. 

After stepping away from teaching for a bit, I discovered that many families were choosing to home-school their children. Having previously home-schooled my youngest son, I understood the challenges that come with balancing the roles of parent and teacher. 

This realisation sparked a passion in me to make a difference! After lots of brainstorming and sharing ideas with friends and family, I’m excited to introduce The Touring Teacher!
